Who wants to hear all the cool Mario Brothers sound effects? (0) #

I’ve often thought highly of Ben Stein, and this article definately makes sense. Wonder when stockholders will wake up and start changing things… (0) #

So, apparently making an electronic copy of a CD (i.e. ripping it) and copying it to your iPod or similar is illegal now.. At least, according to the RIAA it is. Idiots. (0) #

Racquetball Weekend

This upcoming weekend I was supposed to play in a tournament, but I won’t be able to. A couple months ago I noticed that both my racquet frames were cracked, but I waited until the end of January to send them in for the warranty replacements. Well, the warranty replacements won’t be here till Friday or Monday, so that means I can’t play. I’ve missed three or four tournaments so far this winter, not real thrilled about it, but oh well.

Instead, I’m going to go to the tournament and take some pictures. The 2006 Junior National Championships are going to be in Lansing this year, and I’m helping the planning committee. So, one thing I’m going to be doing is developing a “game-day” brochure, and in that will be pictures of the venue and various locations around Lansing. Should be a good time….

Very interesting site that has been kind of the buzz online since it went live. It purports to show current market value for real estate. Check it: Zillow.com (0) #

The American Beer

After careful consideration, I’ve come to the conclusion that Budweiser is the best pure American Beer. It’s made by the only major “domestic” brewing company that is American owned, and I gotta say, it just tastes great.

Quick Disclaimer: My brother worked for Anheuser-Busch for two eight month internships.

What else can be said? It’s got a great marketing strategy that just strikes a chord with me, and it’s commercials are just amazingly good. It’s got a nice, full taste, and how can you go wrong with that classic label? Ok, enough rambling….back to watching the game.
