Sometimes I wonder what the real purpose of covering cubicle walls with fabric is. Obviously, it’s stated purpose is to reduce “white noise” from reaching your coworkers ears, like keyboard chatter or Betty gossiping with her mom. Could a more sinister reason be to prevent coworkers from hearing each other’s moans and cries of agony from being stuck in such a prison?
