outing
Today is the golf outing for my group at work. We’re going to Fox Hills, which is over in Plymouth. I got up WAY to early for this thing, since we don’t tee off until 10:00. We get to charge to whole day to a non-vaction code, so it’s basically a free day off. woo hoo!
I sent Lisa a telegram earlier this week when she was in Florence. She called me the night she got it and thanked me. I was able to talk to her for almost an hour a couple days prior, so we didn’t talk for too long when she called about the telegram. She is going to get back in a week, and I just can’t wait to see her again. I think this next week or so is going to go slow, but really fly by because I’m going to be just happy and looking forward to when I get to see her.
I bought a dining room table and chairs on Tuesday also. I was staying in Lansing at the time, so I picked it out at a place called furniture express. My mom is going to be picking it up on Monday, and then bringing it down here to my place.
Lastly, I’m going to Chicago today after golfing. My buddy mike lives there now, and I haven’t seen him in forever. So, we’re going to head out on the town and have a good time. I’m not spending the full weekend there, but coming back in the late afternoon on Sunday. That way I can have all of Memorial Day to putz around my apartment and take care of things.
