It seems that the only place I’m sleeping as of late is not in my bed at the apartment. I’m currently at a hotel in Jackson, and I’m staying tonight and tomorrow night. I’ll be staying at my parents on Monday night next week, then back to staying in Jackson for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I spend probably 40-60% of my time nights each week away from home. grrrr…
On an unrelated note, I got to talk to Lisa again tonight :-) She went out to have some drinks with the people she’s with in Europe, and called me when she got back to the hotel. We talked for about a half hour, and she’s doing really good. I’m so happy that she’s having a good time over there, and I’m even happier that I’m able to continue my life in an essentially normal way without being around. I don’t like not being able to see her for a whole month straight, but overall it’s been really good.
Next weekend is Memorial Day weekend, and plans are still up in the air. I told Mike about a month ago that I would chill with him that weekend, so I’m waiting to see what he wants to do. The Detroit Electronic Music Festival is that weekend, and we both like that stuff, so it might work out for him to come over to Detroit. However, we might go up to his cottage too. Either way, should be a good time.
Gonna call the rents now. lata…..
