I’m back in the friendly confines of CMS Energy for another couple weeks. I spent yesterday working at a client close to home, and then had to drive all the way up to the office in Bloomfield Hills to meet with my coach from work. We had to review some material for the annual review process that is coming up.
That was where the best part of my day happened. Lisa called me around 5:30, when I was right in the middle of the meeting with my coach. She figured I was out of work by then, and could talk on my drive home or whatever. Unfortunately, that was basically the one exception day that I couldn’t really talk to her. So, we only got to talk for like 5 minutes, but I was really happy she called. :-)
My next exam for the CPA is Monday, 5/24. I don’t really feel prepared for it, since I didn’t get any studying done last week or really over the weekend. I did some reading last night, and I really have to bust my ass the rest of this week and over the weekend.
I’m going to stay in Jackson for Wednesday and Thursday nights this week, so that will help with the studying. After my test Monday, I’m going to have a lot of time to do things I want to do, which is nice. My dad wants to maybe go to the harness racing track in Jackson, so that might be fun. I guess we’ll see what happens after this week. My only concentration should be on the test for the next few days.
Haven’t done much developing on the upcoming migration to WordPress, but I’m sure I’ll have time after the test is over. Hopefully I can launch it sometime during the first week of June. Back to work…
