in new jersey
Like the title says, i’m in New Jersey. Saddle Brook, New Jersey to be exact. I’m out here on an engagement, and it’s going fairly well. I got a bit of work done today, but we didn’t get out here till almost 11:30 AM. The girl driving the rental car got us lost, so that wasn’t good. Flight wasn’t bad, I even got to sleep a little bit.
Yesterday was pretty damn good day. I got up around 9:30 AM, and ran some errands. Then, my buddy Josh Frazier stopped by, since he had to drop his mom off at Detroit Metro Airport. After that, my parents came over. My mom and I spent most of the afternoon driving around to all the stores looking for a kitchen/dining room table, but didn’t end up buying anything. I found one that I liked at Value City, but since I’m gone this week, I’ll deal with purchasing it some other time.
Around 5:00 PM, I got the best treat of the day…LISA CALLED!!! She was in Amsterdam at the time, and we had talked for about 25 minutes. She’s having a great time over there, but she came down with a bit of a cold. Overall, she was really happy, and I’m glad she’s having such a good time.
It’s after 5:30 here, and I can’t believe we’re not leaving yet. These two girls I’m working out here with are just plain workaholics. I don’t have my own car, so I’m basically at their mercy for when we go to work and leave work. grrrrr…..why am I still here at work! I need to get back to the hotel and study.
Oh, and in case you missed the last post, I’m going to be implementing WordPress as the weblogging software on this site sometime in the future. I have a test page set up here, so check it out. I’ve turned on comment moderation, so if you don’t see your comments right away, that’s why :-)
