There hasn’t been much going on to speak about, so I thought I’d at least post some links to cool stuff. These links provided me with great joy for at least 30 seconds, sometimes all the way up to a minute.
First off, there’s a cool list of Windows processes that contains the name of and purpose for most of these background processes. If you ever wondered what “svchost” was when looking at your Task Manager, this list will tell you.
Next, we have what I would like to call the worst web page known to mankind. Two things…
1) Write in plain english so the rest of the world can understand what your trying to say
2) Flashing graphics, in the quantity exhibited on this page, can cause seizures.
Some of you may be thinking “Come on man, give her a break, she’s just trying to have fun” or “I didn’t think it was that bad.” Trying to have fun is one thing…but can’t she write so that normal people could at least read what she’s trying to have fun with? As for any other complaints, I found the following article very amusing.
Snark!!! Napster is on the way back!!! If you’ve been reading the news lately, you’ve probably heard that Napster is going to attempt a comeback with a paid subscription service. I’ll believe it when I see it, but for now we at least have this cool flash cartoon to tide us over.
These guys are freaking cool. I found the site off of fazed.net, where it was linked to the story about a Rubik’s Cube prank. They have done some pretty funny stuff, and reading the stories was extremely funny.
