I severely dislike whoever is the admin for the network here in my apartment complex. He, or she, has deemed it prudent to block port 21, so it makes it really freaking difficult to upload images to my site. grrrrrrrr…

So, I had to dial up to the school and upload the images over a phone line (how ancient). While it didn’t take long, it still ticks me off. I only have to live here for another 7 weeks though, so I guess I can live with it.

I was supposed to go to the Wayside tonight, but ended up here. Which isn’t all that bad since I can post an entry to my huge audience (riiiiiiiight) and do some laundry. Boy, what an exciting Saturday night. But it’s ok, Mike and I got some drinks last night and hung out. So it’s cool i guess…

Lastly, i posted the first article to that section of my site. However, it’s not even my creation. I found the page somewhere online, and don’t remember where. So, if you know who I can credit with this creation, please let me know.

UPDATE: The upgrade to Wordpress, and realizing the pictures for the old article mentioned above were corrupted (not due to the upgrade), resulted in locating the original author of the article. As such, here are two locations to find the article mentioned above…

BCS is the best place to work. I’m surrounded by technology, and I get paid to work with it. How much better can it get?

It’s been a couple days since I’ve posted, not that it matters since I don’t have an audience. :-) Programming this blog is quite interesting, but I think I need to comment some of my code before I lose all memory of what it does.

I’m looking for comments, criticisms, words of advice, etc etc etc about the site, so send them my way.

Watched Primetime on ABC last night…heard about this new crime that is very popular with middle-class folks. What happens is these people get involved with high car loan or lease payments, then decide they don’t want to pay them off. So they pay these criminals $200-$1000 dollars to burn/steal/destroy the nice new Lexus, Beamer, etc. The police sting that the camera followed around and the ensuing arrest of these car jackers and businessmen was hilarious.

Thats about as interesting as my life gets for right now…stay tuned…

woo hoo!!! I have a blog!

After a couple days of banging my head against the desk, extensive reference to php.net and PHP and MySQL Web Development by Luke Welling and Laura Thompson, and general programming goof-ups, I have written my own blog. I’ll have the code published eventually, but other things call for my attention. Oh yeah, I can’t forget to thank Pat Lombardo for the advice and help he gave me in writing the PHP for the site and blog software.

I finished my MUS 150 class today…yeah…that class was easy but boring. I’m going to head to Firehouse Saloon tonight, so come out if your cool…

I think thats about it for now…maybe I’ll get an audience to read this someday :-)
